ABOUT THE FARM
Cual Bicicleta is quite a unique farm, beginning with its owner, Don Oscar. Located at 1,550 mts. Above sea level, this farm has great weather conditions for processing washed, honey and natural coffees. Don Oscar believes that the use of microorganism and organic fertilizers has created a shield on most of his coffee plants, giving no chance to leaf rust or any other disease that may damage his plants. Most of the farm is full of varieties such as catuai, ihcafe 90, lempira, Geisha, Icatu and Parainema. They’ve also tested a few fermentation process, such as dry controlled fermentation process for natural coffees. This process consists of letting the coffee cherry rest for 24 hrs. before they bring them into the solar dryer.
WHO’S THE FARMER
I began to plant my first 1,500 coffee trees back in 1996. Back then we lack of resources, those where tough times. We had to sacrifice even our food in order to keep growing coffee. Before I had my own coffee farm, I used to work at other farms, but at the same time I was learning the coffee production process from them. I remember I had to carry coffee beans down the hill, using mules. I think this was a very challenging experience as a young boy. I plan to keep being part of the specialty coffee supply chain, specialty coffee is the product that gives us the highest revenue and profits so we can keep growing and improving our farms.
To raise my sons so they can become good hard working people, and also to give them the opportunity that I didn’t have, to attend school and get their bachelor’s degree. My future project is to keep producing great coffee.

腳踏車莊園是個很特別的咖啡莊園，這要從他的莊主－唐奧斯卡(Don Oscar)開始說起。座落在海拔1,550米，位於海平面之上的腳踏車莊園，擁有得天獨厚的氣候，處理水洗、蜜處理、日曬等加工技術都非常適合。唐奧斯卡相信，使用微生物和有機肥料已在他的咖啡形成天然防護層，以致葉銹病（一種嚴重影響咖啡樹生長的疾病）和任何可能的疾病都不會傷及他的咖啡。莊園裡的咖啡種類繁多，目前有卡杜艾(Catuai)、Ihcafe 90、倫皮拉(Lempira)、藝妓(Geisha)、伊卡圖(Icatu)和帕拉以內瑪(Parainema)。他們也嘗試過一些發酵處理方式，例如日曬咖啡的乾式發酵，過程包括日曬前先讓咖啡櫻桃靜置24小時。
