我們為什麼投入咖啡呢？為什麼是宏都拉斯咖啡呢？

咖啡從我年輕的時候就是我生命中珍貴的一部分。在台灣，當我告訴人們我六歲就開始喝咖啡時，他們總是會驚訝。儘管有些人認為咖啡不適合小孩，但我還有深刻的記憶，每天早上喝著帶糖的咖啡去上學，或是下午和祖母一起喝咖啡，聽著她的故事。

當我來台灣念書時，我發現自己經常去咖啡廳，但發現宏都拉斯咖啡沒有人提供。似乎只有哥斯達黎加和瓜地馬拉是唯一的選擇。

我還記得當時想 "哥斯達黎加做得比我們好"。我真誠地佩服哥斯達黎加作為咖啡生產國的成功

由於我當時充滿問號因此我決定去了解，我就開始與很多的咖啡師詢問為何他們沒有賣宏都拉斯的咖啡。他們給我各式各樣的原因，不過最多聽到的是：宏都拉斯沒有精品豆，品質很差或者他們只使用商業豆。

那是五年前，現在我們看到台灣有100多家咖啡館提供宏都拉斯咖啡，我們的任務是繼續讓台灣消費者享受我們獨特和美味的咖啡。

那為什麼要進口宏都拉斯咖啡，當大家都告訴你它不好呢?

宏都拉斯咖啡被忽視太久了，但我們來改變這一切！儘管有些人可能會說，我們知道宏都拉斯有一些最好的咖啡，我們決心證明這一點。

當有潛力的客戶告訴我們他們對宏都拉斯咖啡沒有興趣時，我們沒有被打倒。我們決定測試我們的咖啡，並與一位朋友和烘培師分享樣品。想像一下，當他們說它很美味時我們的興奮！我們更進一步組織了一次盲品嚐會其他咖啡館老闆，你知道他們說了什麼嗎？“這些真的是宏都拉斯咖啡嗎？太棒了！。

Coffee has been a cherished part of my life from a young age. People in Taiwan are often surprised when I tell them I started drinking it at 6 years old. Despite some misconceptions that coffee isn't suitable for kids, I have fond memories of starting my mornings with a cup of coffee and sugar, and spending afternoons with my grandma, sipping coffee and listening to her stories.

When I came to Taiwan to study, I found myself frequenting coffee shops and it struck me that Honduran coffee was nowhere to be found. It seemed that Costa Rica and Guatemala were the only options. I remember thinking "Costa Rica is doing a better job than us." I truly admire the success that Costa Rica has had as a coffee producing country.

I decided to speak with roasters and baristas to understand why Honduran coffee wasn't offered in Taiwan. I was given a range of reasons such as Honduras doesn't produce specialty coffee, the quality is poor or that only commercial coffee was used. That was 5 years ago, now we are seeing more than 100 coffee shops in Taiwan that offer Honduran coffee, and our mission is to continue to delight Taiwanese consumers with our unique and delicious coffees.

SO WHY IMPORT HONDURAN COFFEE WHEN EVERYONE TELLS YOU IT'S NOT GOOD?

Honduran coffee has been overlooked for too long, but we're here to change that! Despite what some may say, we know that Honduras has some of the best coffee out there, and we're determined to prove it.

When potential customers told us they weren't interested in Honduran coffee, we didn't take it lying down. We decided to put our coffee to the test and shared samples with a friend and roaster. Imagine our excitement when they said it was delicious! We took it one step further and organized a blind taste test with other coffee shop owners, and you know what they said? "Are these really Honduran coffees? They're amazing!"

Our mission isn't about making money, it's about sharing our passion for Honduran coffee with Taiwan and the rest of Asia. These small and medium-sized farmers deserve a chance to show the world the true potential of their beans, and we're excited to be a part of that journey.
